A LITTLE SMILE

AROUND THE WORLD

While I was working at pageant events, I was given many opportunities to assist the Japanese people who were suffering from the Tsunami tragedy. During these events, I felt very touched by people who were working hard for to raise money and support for charities even though they were not from Japan as I was. From seeing these acts of kindness by strangers, most of whom had never been to Japan and may not have even known anyone from Japan, I was motivated to create a non-profit organization to help disadvantaged children of all backgrounds by putting a smile on their faces.

Now that the pageant is completed, I want to use my success to work to create charity events with sponsors. My first effort will be to raise money to assist children in the areas most directly harmed by the Tsunami. I know this area well as I am from Sendai and my family now lives near the Fukushima nuclear power plant. I am very passionate about helping children and assisting in the healing process in Japan. A world where children of all backgrounds and races can smile is a better world for all. Please help me in my work. Thank you.
